My passion for interior design began in childhood, when I was constantly rearranging furniture, redecorating my room, and even hanging wallpaper at the age of 10. That creativity continued through designing my own homes, completing hands-on renovations, and building two homes with my husband. At 40, I transformed that lifelong passion into Corbett Style & Design, a boutique Northern Virginia design firm specializing in elevated, functional, and deeply personal interiors.

Before founding Corbett Style & Design, I spent more than 20 years in nursing, primarily in pediatric critical care and leadership. Nursing taught me to listen carefully, remain calm under pressure, manage complex details, communicate clearly, and care for people during stressful seasons. I bring those same qualities to every design project, offering the warmth, responsiveness, and personal connection that have become hallmarks of our firm.

We also believe exceptional projects are built through collaboration. Our process is intentionally flexible, allowing us to adjust our services and communication style to support both our clients and the contractors bringing each design to life. As a boutique firm, we value relationships over volume and remain personally invested throughout the experience.
